Cambodian customs police said they arrested two South Korean nationals for an attempt to smuggle 2.27kg of narcotics to South Korea.
Mr Babafemi said the raid was conducted by the NDLEA and the Abia Homeland Security men on the property at 23 Arochukwu Street, Umuahia.
The NDLEA commander said 640 suspects, comprising 614 males and 26 females, were arrested within the period under review.
The Southeast Asian country has no death sentence for a drug trafficker.
“It is paramount to note that 26 illicit drug joints were also dismantled.’’
While not giving specific figures, Ms Umebuali said several suspects were charged to court.
Mr Yusuf-Omale stated that the seized illicit drugs included cocaine, heroin, cannabis among others
The agency said urgent action is required to prevent further harm to individuals struggling with addiction and to safeguard public health.
Mr Braji said fight against illicit drugs and consumption was a collective responsibility and appealed for support to address the menace.
