This was announced in a statement by the chief press secretary to the governor, Tersoo Kula, on Wednesday in Makurdi.
The by-election is due to the death of a member of the House of Assembly, Olajide Akinremi, which occurred on July 10, 2024.
Mr Haruna represented Munya constituency in the Niger State House of Assembly before his death. Â
Mr Uzodimma stated that his administration had pursued reforms that increased the state’s revenue, attracted investment, and enhanced transparency.
The visit is expected to foster collaboration and strengthen the relationship between the executive and legislative arms of government.
