Mr Abiodun noted that infrastructure would gulp 32 per cent of the budget at N526.15 billion, and education taking N275 billion, representing 17 per cent.
The speaker assured the governor of accelerated hearing and passage of the appropriation bill to achieve his developmental objectives.
Mr Yusuf said that the 2026 budget would focus on housing, agriculture, education, healthcare and support for small and medium enterprises
The governor said the budget was designed to be both visionary and pragmatic.
Mr Egbedun said the governor indicated that preparations and approval on the budget had been concluded by the State Executive Council.
Mrs Duduyemi expressed gratitude to the lawmaker for the gesture.
He said the assembly was highly committed to continuing its collaboration with stakeholders to enact laws in the citizens’ best interests.
The bill aims to protect the environment by creating a structured and monitored framework for waste recycling and disposal.
Mr Kalat made the donation at an event in Kafanchan, headquarters of Jema’a LGA.
