The Polytechnic, Ibadan, has announced the accreditation of all 35 programmes it tabled before the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
“Any student found violating this directive will be sanctioned accordingly. Parents, guardians and members of the public are to note that students are on vacation.”
The Polytechnic Ibadan has backtracked on its suspension of various activities, including conferences, seminars, and workshops in the institution and its environment.
The directive takes effect immediately for all events, except the ongoing second-semester examinations.
The final year student of Ibadan Polytechnic was also preparing for his wedding on June 19.
The polytechnic workers’ unions began the strike on January 11, demanding full implementation of minimum wage.
