Governor Mohammed Umaru-Bago has saluted former military dictator Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, as he turns 84 on Sunday.
A strategist and military apologist, Mr Davis had revealed in several media interviews how Mr Babangida set the stage for the annulment of the 1993 election.
Mr Falana said Dele Giwa’s brutal assassination marked the beginning of bombing in Nigeria by the government.
Mr Babangida said the late dictator, Sani Abacha, hijacked power because the political elites said they were tired of elections.
“We call him Maradona. Let him come out straight. I can’t be dribbled. He is a dribbler. I know Babangida,” Mr Adebanjo said of the infamous ex-dictator.
