The Jos Magistrate’s Court has sentenced an 18 -year-old electrician, Ibrahim Sani, to 14 months in prison for trespass and theft.
Mr Sani said the exercise targeted children aged nine to 59 months and achieved 100 per cent coverage, surpassing the projected child population.
The defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges preferred against them.
Mr Sani expressed disappointment over the situation.
The project is being rehabilitated in collaboration with the federal government’s Agricultural Transformation Agenda Programme.
