Mr Keyamo had sued Mr Abubakar and the ICPC over a corruption allegation by Michael Achimugu, former aide to the ex-vice president.
The chairman’s action is contrary to federal rules that expressly states that the naira “shall be legal tender in Nigeria at their face value for the payment of any amount.”
“Nobody should be above the law, but blackmail and propaganda should not be tolerated,” he said.
Mr Malami made the assertion at the launch and public presentation of his autobiography on Thursday in Abuja.
Mr Ojerinde is arraigned alongside his four children, Mary Funmilola, Olumide Abiodun, Adedayo and Oluwaseun Adeniyi, by ICPC.
ICPC had accused the ex-JAMB boss of diverting N5 billion public funds and was dragged to court for an 18-count money laundering suit.
The anti-graft agency also disclosed that its operatives deployed on election duty were also attacked in the two states.
Justice James Omotosho vowed to struck out the suit on the next adjourned date if Mr Keyamo was not ready to prosecute the case diligently.
“It is not going to be business as usual. We are out to ensure that three is any iota of vote-buying.”
The officials were granted administrative bail on Tuesday.
