The arrest followed the hoarding of new naira notes by the Deidei branch of the bank in Abuja, a move deemed a deliberate attempt to sabotage the nation’s economy.
The spokesperson for ICPC, Azuka Ogugua, in a statement said that Mr Ojerinde was rearrested following a warrant issued by the Federal High Court, Abuja.
According to the NSCDC chief, from 2018 to date, ACTU has recovered over N120 million from various corruption-related cases.
The ICPC was said to have released D’Banj after failing to find incriminating evidence linking him to N-Power fraud.
Humanitarian minister Sadiya Umar Farouq has pledged to support the ICPC in its investigation of alleged fraud in the N-Power Programme.

The NDDC director, Solomon Okpa Ita, was arraigned for allegedly diverting N45 million.
