“Anyone going around parading himself as the candidate of the party, aside Rhodes-Vivour, and others…are misleading the public.”
Mr Awamaridi urged Labour Party candidate Peter Obi to urgently intervene in the crisis, rocking the party to improve his chances in the forthcoming 2023 election in Lagos.
Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour polled 111 votes to defeat his opponent Mashood Salvador in the just concluded Labour Party substitution primary on Wednesday.
Mr Awamaridi said the party would not negotiate for cash out, and expressed optimism that he would emerge governor of Lagos in 2023.
