Mr Ossai assured the governor of members’ commitment to the council’s goals.
Mr Ossai stated, “Today we saw resilience, perseverance and strength of will against all adversities by Rangers.
He said his administration would stop at nothing until it achieved workers’ welfare.
“We urge the judiciary at the apex level to ensure that our jurisprudence is not distorted. We remain vigilant in the struggle for democracy and good governance in the country.”
The governor made the promise during an inspection of facilities at Ogurugu jetty with Mr Ogalla on Saturday in Enugu.
This order, he said, demanded that we manage the people’s money in their best interest and hold him and members of his team accountable for the funds.
“We have no option than to support him, having seen what he has in mind for us. We also felt there was a need to celebrate this victory.
As people gathered, an alarm was raised by some people who claimed to have heard a bang from the structure.
According to Mr Ugwuanyi, continuous peace is the biggest gift he needs from the people of Enugu.
