On Tuesday, four security guards appeared before the Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court for stealing a bus with 400 solar panels.
The magistrate adjourned the matter until January 9, 2024, for further hearing.
The three men, Ime Essien, 49, Nnamdi Obianuka, 36, and Chidera Stephen , 21, live in Lagos and are being tried for conspiracy and stealing.
“It will serve as a deterrent to others,” she said.
The prosecutor told the court that the 18 rolls of paper reels were valued at N10 million.
Mr Akeem said that the defendants stole 116 pieces of Chi pendants and bio discs belonging to the company.
On Monday, the Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court ordered the remand of a 41-year-old man, Nnamdi Dike, for defiling his girlfriend’s 12-year-old daughter.
Two persons on Wednesday appeared before the Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court for obtaining N13 million on a false pretence of changing it to dollars.
The suspect was granted N200,000 bail with two sureties in like sum.
The defendant, on the pretence that he wanted to buy cow skin, had dragged the 12-year-old seller into his room and molested her.
