Jos Electricity Distribution Company recorded the lowest collection efficiency at 42.92 per cent.
The energy firm has given customers until February 20 to comply with the directive.
“ We are engaging with the FCCPC alongside the affected customer and other concerned stakeholders to implement all directives issued,” said the energy firm.
The FCCPC said it had, on several occasions, reminded Ikeja Electric about complying with NERC’s decision.
Mr Okotie said, “The individuals in question are employees of Arise Business Link, a company engaged by Ikeja Electric for debt recovery operations.’’
“This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication that each member of our team brings each day,” she said.
The company listed the affected areas as; General Hospital, Obadore, Egan, Akesan, Igando-Ikotun, Agric Road and New Igando.”
The reduction has been blamed on a drop in supply in power generation from an average of 3,700MW to 2,000MW per hour.
The substations controlling the affected areas will be switched off from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. everyday.
