The family of a woman killed by a BRT driver along Ikorodu Road says it has rejected the N1.5 million compensation offered to them by the Lagos government.
LASTMA has disclosed that a driver on Tuesday was crushed to death after his vehicle collided with another at the Independent Tunnel on Ikorodu Road.
Mr Giwa also urged motorists to be prudent and safety conscious while on the road.
Ms Nkemdirim, whose address was not provided, is facing a charge of stealing by trick.
Mr Olumide said property owners, especially those on highways, should undertake the needed facelift of their buildings.
The activist said that the demolition posed a significant threat to the economic stability of Lagos State.
Mr Ifabiyi said that reliable street lighting would also enhance visibility for motorists and improve road safety.
This marks the third price increase in two months.
Surveys on Sunday in Lagos revealed that most filling stations along Ikorodu Road were not selling.
“Upon arrival to the scene, it was discovered that an accident involved a car with registration number MUS 450 GR and a truck, registration number ALK-215XA,” LASEMA said.
