The wanton attacks continue to question the capacity of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration to protect lives and properties.
“There was no casualty because security men guarding the office ran into the 14 Army Brigade barracks for safety when the attackers arrived at the place.”
The recently renovated office in the local government was set ablaze Sunday night.

INEC deregistered the parties for failing to win any seat in either federal, state or local government levels, during the 2019 general elections.
“This lingering crisis occurs because the existing polling units can no longer substantially guarantee the voter to exercise his/her fundamental right.”
According to him, INEC has been using the polling unit structure created in 1996, hence the need to expand.
“We assure members of the public that this incident will not in any way affect the operations of the commission.”
INEC advised registered voters who have lost their PVCs or whose PVCs have been defaced or damaged to take advantage of the exercise.
Mr Akpabio who was APC’s candidate at the election said he was rather a victim of the fraudulent manipulation of the election.
