Mr Diri said the enthronement of faulty institutions, instead of functional ones capable of improved outcomes, was a problem in the country.
Mr Ehindero will represent the constituency in the House of Representatives by-election on February 3.

The party frowned at the readiness of INEC to allow the legal team of SDP to inspect the election materials.
The PDP describes the speech as unpresidential, uninspiring and amounts to a waste of valuable time.
Mr Akeredolu’s death “was preceded by events that tested us in diverse ways, but those challenges have shaped our resolve,” said the Ondo governor.
“It is the executive and INEC that conduct election in Nigeria,’’ he said.
Meanwhile, four INEC directors have been directed to proceed on terminal leave.
