The Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, on Thursday congratulated the newly appointed acting inspector general of police, Tunji Disu.
Police commissioner Daniel Iyamah has described sound mental health as a core strength that underpins effective policing.

“Everywhere he served, he left more than just a line on a resume. He left memories, he left reforms and he inspired several young officers who served under him,” said Mr Egbetokun.
Mr Oregbo insisted that the police are not backing down on their demands from the government.

According to him, the squad will serve as a rapid response and preventive unit specifically trained to work with school communities.
The police blamed Mr Sanusi for a fight that broke out on Sallah day.
