Mr Hundeyin said the operations led to the rescue of some kidnapped victims and the recovery of dangerous firearms and illicit drugs.
They were alleged to have committed acts of terrorism, treason, and treasonable felonies, including arson and terrorism.
According to him, police operatives immediately traced the criminals and arrested them at their hideout in Karmo area of the FCT.
Mr Adejobi said items recovered from the hideout were mobile phones, multiple SIM cards, charms and hard drugs.
Mr Adejobi said said the suspects were arrested on January 17 by operatives of the Intelligence Response Team (IRT) following credible intelligence.
On Tuesday, lawyers and journalists were barred from an ongoing trial of disgraced police officer Abba Kyari.
Their lawyer said granting his clients bail was a necessity because their lives are no longer safe where they are currently detained.
The federal government has sought Mr Kyari’s extradition to the U.S. to answer an Internet fraud case.
The dissolution is said to be because disgraced police officer, Abba Kyari, used operatives of the IRT to traffic hard drugs.
