Mr Tailkh said the unit had been providing surgical care for blast victims—those with gunshot wounds—and had trained health personnel in Borno.
“Today, over 23,000 persons are still missing. However, it is likely that this is just the tip of the iceberg.”
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has unveiled a radio tracing programme in Borno to reunite 3,000 missing persons with loved ones.
