EFCC says it arrested twin brothers Taiwo and Kehinde Adio alongside five others over alleged internet fraudulent activities in Ibadan.
He advised authorities of tertiary institutions to put in place measures that would discourage students from indulging in crimes.
Chairman Ola Olukoyede gave the directive on Wednesday night as fallout intensifies over the agency’s controversial raid on a university campus.
An attorney representing the students said they were free on bail following immense public pressure but without stringent conditions.
The prosecutors described Mr Woodberry’s offence as “serious” and alleged that the Instagram celebrity “attempted to cause greater harm to victims.”
“Every variant of internet fraud such as romance scam, business email compromise, hacking, impersonation, Forex scam and others are corrupt practices.”
Adesuwa Ogiozee is the latest Nigerian to be charged for involvement in multimillion-dollar fraud in the U.S. while pretending to be a legitimate entrepreneur.
The infamous Instagram celebrity was also ordered to pay $1,732,841 in restitution to two fraud victims.
The anti-graft agency also revealed that a car, laptops and exotic phones, etc., were seized from the suspects.
