The United States and Iran again exchanged attacks near the Strait of Hormuz early on Thursday amid a ceasefire and ongoing negotiations on ending the war.
The IRGC has warned of potential sea mines in the Strait of Hormuz, advising vessels to avoid the main shipping lanes amid ongoing tensions, even with a ceasefire with the U.S.
“We are the ones who will determine the end of the war,” said the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
The IRGC also claimed that a U.S. combat support vessel sustained heavy damage.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, accused of being behind the plot, is designated as a terrorist organisation by the U.S. and three countries.
