The decision is expected to strengthen enrollment in colleges of education.
Ms Ahmad stated this on Monday in Abuja at the 2026 Policy Meeting on Admissions into Tertiary Institutions organised by JAMB.
The board said the decision was aimed at ensuring that no eligible candidate was denied access to tertiary education.

She said the examination maintains the same standard as the UTME written by other candidates.
Candidates who wrote the examination on Thursday, April 16, 2026, are now available for viewing.
The UTME, which started on Thursday, will end on April 25, 2026.
