UTME registration will now commence on Monday, February 3, instead of January 31, as earlier slated.
“On the contrary, the report highlighted the responsible and prudent use of resources under the leadership of the registrar,” said the National Assembly Joint Committee on Finance.
Chairman of the committee, Abiodun Faleke, insisted JAMB went overboard to have remitted lower than it received from the government.
Mr Oladiji said that amendments to the law that created the university would bring more value to the institution.

“Out of 60 students, only 10 have been able to register for NIN, while others are still struggling and out of this number, only four have successfully registered for UTME,” said Ms Obong.
He said, “We will go with 16 years and we are going to meet with JAMB and others on that.’’
