The defendants were arraigned in May 2022 but pleaded not guilty to the charge.
George Kadiri, who stood surety for James Nolan, a British national, at the centre of an ongoing $9.6 billion Process and Industrial Development scam trial, has been arrested.
On September 28, 2022, Justice Mohammed revoked the N100 million bail granted to Mr Nolan.
Justice Donatus Okorowo gave the order while delivering a ruling in the ex-parte motion moved by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)’s counsel, Bala Sanga.
Reacting to Mr Sanga’s allegation of deploying a delay tactic, Mr Erokoro asserted, “My lord, I have one word for this: blackmail.”
