Mr Enoh called for reforms in the Nigerian sports sector as a way for improved performance on the global stage.
Meanwhile, neither the NOC nor AFN has taken responsibility for the incident, with both bodies pushing the blame onto each other.
Mr Enoh has applauded Kanyinsola Ajayi and Favour Ashe for their remarkable performances in their respective heats.
Mr Nezianya”said that the NOC was focused on the quest for gold medals for now because it’s the ultimate.
Mr Enoh said, “They should both ensure she is not deprived of the opportunity to compete in the races for which she is qualified.’’
He said that the athletes have benefited from high calibre coaching and technical support ahead of the games.
“If we are not healthy, we can’t give the country our best.’’
Mr Enoh emphasised that Nigerian football fans demand and deserve answers and accountability from the NFF.
Eighty-eight athletes from Nigeria have qualified for the Olympic Games; others are still in the qualification process before the closing windows.
“We cannot afford to miss out on the World Cup again.”
