He noted that the training provided hands-on expertise in modern armoury practices.
He said the diversion of weapons from government armouries remains the most worrisome challenge.

Mr Kokumo expressed appreciation to the NCS for its proactive efforts in intercepting and handing over the arms.
The small arms and light weapons were those retrieved from criminals by the various security agencies in the country.
“We know too well that the Nigerian Police Force has records of recovered arms and ammunition across the federation,” the NCCSALW coordinator said.
He also said that all the areas noted for crisis or where security threats might come from had been taken care of and would be well-policed.
It is said that following intervention from some top government officials, Asiri Eniba was released and placed under the Army’s watch.
