“Implementation is the major challenge. That is why we continue to advocate that all government agencies comply with the law,” he said.
Suleiman Abdulaziz, state chairman of JONAPWD, made the appeal on Friday in Kaduna during a voter mobilisation exercise supported by TAP Africa.
He said that with the collective support of all, PWDs could bring about positive change.
Mr Okeke said the voices, experiences, and perspectives of PWDs were invaluable in shaping communities and governance.
He said that the figure is based on a report by the World Health Organisation (WHO).
