Ms Dauda stated that the deductions were a structured debt repayment scheme designed to recover outstanding balances.
The commissioner said the current Plateau administration was determined to complete all abandoned projects and that the move aimed at giving Jos and Bukuru metropolis a facelift.
The Plateau government has again relaxed the 24-hour curfew imposed on the Jos-Bukuru metropolis following a violent protest.
“Residents are now permitted to move freely for their lawful activities from 12 noon to 6 pm daily until further notice,” the statement said.
”We want to appeal to all citizens to eschew all forms of violence,” the statement read.
Following the breakdown of law and order, the Plateau government has imposed a 24-hour curfew on the Jos-Bukuru metropolis.
Some Jos-Bukuru metropolis residents have rated their power supply as above average and commended the Jos Electricity Distribution Company (JEDC).
A resident of Jo’s that was interviewed, said that it was unusual for the city to witness rain in January.
