According to the police spokesperson, the suspect, after the killing, set her husband’s corpse on fire and dumped it in an uncompleted building.
The police command in Abuja on Thursday released Yushau Shuaibu after he was arrested for trying to die by suicide on July 8.
She said the suspect was arrested around 9:00 p.m.
The result of the evaluation will determine if legal proceedings will be taken against Mr Yushau.
In his suicide note, Mr Yusuf explained that his actions were triggered by the economic hardship occasioned by President Bola Tinubu’s economic policies.
The police spokesperson said operatives are still navigating the identified bandits’ camps and hideouts in the forests and hills in and around FCT.
Mr Emhenya’s death in detention comes as another episode of persons dying in a police cell.
She said the commissioner of police in charge of the FCT, Benneth Igweh, led the operation that foiled the robbery attempt on June 13.
Ms Adeh stated that the suspects and victims had been handed over to the Sokoto State police command.
The suspects have been on the wanted list of the command for the past few months.
