Judge Nancy Maldonado, however, compelled CSU to release Mr Tinubu’s record leading to the deposition that exposed Mr Tinubu’s forgery.
“For me, the issue is not whether President Tinubu graduated from Chicago State University or not,” Mr Ajayi wrote on X Tuesday evening.
“The court cautions President Tinubu that any request for a stay before this court will be denied,” Nancy Maldonado said.
The ruling marks a major blow to Mr Tinubu and a progress for Mr Abubakar, who has been seeking the records to establish that the Nigerian president tnedered forged certificate.

Nigerian president’s acquiescence that his certificate could be released came after he narrowly escaped full disclosure on September 21 by pleading severe harm to his life.
Chicago State University was ordered to release the documents to Atiku Abubakar on September 21.
Mr Tinubu has until August 23 to file a convincing response arguing why his school records should not be released to Mr Abubakar.
