“We find it deeply regrettable that the judiciary…is experiencing this unprecedented low treatment,” said JUSUN.
JUSUN had directed its members in all federal courts nationwide and other judicial institutions to withdraw their services from Monday.
The state’s chapter of the union had, on December 6, 2024, embarked on an indefinite strike over the non-implementation of the new minimum wage.
The governor noted that anyone found violating the directive would face legal consequences.
Discussions on the implementation of the minimum wage have continued in many states since President Bola Tinubu signed it into law.
Mr Adamu commended the President Tinubu for signing the bill into law.
It stated that the meeting addressed the Consolidated Judiciary Salary Structure (CONJUS) and the implementation of the new minimum wage in the state.
There were no magistrates, judges or staff seen around the court premises except security personnel on duty.
The courts were shut in strict compliance with JUSUN’s order.
Judges, lawyers and litigants have been prevented from entering courts in Abuja.
