The party had earlier released a 1,234 member campaign council list which was later retracted to accommodate more people.
The Labour Party says it is set to release a supplementary list for its presidential campaign council.
“The dispossessed and exploited people and masses of Nigeria are the structure of the party.”
The chairman said the committee would organise fund-raising activities among others.
Mr Abure said presidential candidate of the LP, Peter Obi, decided to join the race to rescue the country from its current economic woes.
“The undeniable, unchallengeable fundamental reason for being on this ticket is to rescue Nigeria,” Mr Baba-Ahmed said.
Umar Ibrahim, the party’s national secretary made the declaration while addressing reporters on Friday in Kaduna.
Mr Margif was one of the 10 aspirants that bought the APC N50 million expression of interests/nominations before he left the party.
NLC on Monday in Abuja admonished delegates to the presidential primary elections of political parties not to vote for aspirants with anti-progressives credentials.
