Mrs Nyako, held that rendition for the purpose of criminal investigation is allowed.
The judge said: “That kind of cloth cannot be worn in my court.”
Ms Nyako also counselled the defence lawyers to stop using frivolous applications to delay the trial, which started in 2015.
“I don’t want to see him in these cloths again. This one is almost off-white,” the judge had demanded.
This followed a delay by the prosecution to serve the defence with the amended charge.
IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu’s trial has been adjourned until January 18, 2022, after his lawyers approached the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court for an abridgement of time.
Mr Uba said he wants to ask the detainee “If he is involved in any way in what is happening in the South East.”
The court ordered that Mr Kanu be remanded in prison till July 26 for continuation of his trial.
