When the matter was called, the police chief’s lawyer told the court that his motion on notice hearing had been adjourned.
The judge described the suit as frivolous, vexatious, irritating and baseless.
The judge adjourned the matter after Mr Kanu’s counsel, Alloy Ejimakor, indicated his interest in responding to a counter affidavit jointly filed by the SSS.
On March 6, the judge dismissed Messrs Ndifon and Anyanwu’s no-case submission.
The judge adjourned the matter until February 27 to hear the defendants’ no-case submission.
Delivering his ruling on Mr Ndifon’s bail application, Justice Omotosho admitted him to a N250 million bail with two sureties.
Justice Omotosho, who described the suit as “highly unmeritorious,” declared that the “suit lacks merits.”
The witness told the court that he (Ndifon) touched her chest near her breast area.
“I am presently not feeling well,” said Mr Tafada and he was given water to take.
The matter was consequently adjourned until Feb. 21, Feb. 22 and Feb. 28 for commencement of trial.
