Chairman of Kabba-Bunu local government council, Moses Olorunleke, gave the order on Monday in Kabba following a second suspected bomb blast in the area.
Authorities did not confirm casualties or the type of explosives that ripped through the predominantly Yoruba community.
“I heard a loud sound not far from where I was and as I went there, I saw three bodies while the injured were taken to hospital.”
Trouble broke out after a young motorcyclist was allegedly killed by security operatives on January 22.

This follows the attack on the Medium Security Custodial Centre, Kabba, on September 12 in neighbouring Kogi State.
A total of 240 inmates were said to have escaped after gunmen broke into the prison on September 12.
Suspected armed bandits have invaded Kabba prison in Kogi, freeing their colleagues and other inmates while killing soldiers at the facility.
