Governor Uba Sani on Wednesday launched the state inaugural flight for the 2026 hajj, urging intending pilgrims to be good ambassadors of Kaduna and Nigeria.
The governor stated that Zaria was too important to be left in its current state.
Mr Sani said, “The merchants of insecurity will not be happy with the release of these innocent souls because they are benefiting from insecurity.
Kaduna State Peace Commission has appealed for calm and peaceful conduct of election reruns scheduled for Saturday.
Mr Kure commended the governor for his efforts at uniting people in the state.
The former Kaduna governor now intends to show the Nigerian public that there were no justifiable grounds for the outcome of his security assessment to be placed on hold.
On Wednesday, the Supreme Court temporarily stopped the Central Bank from withdrawing old naira notes from circulation.
He dismissed the former Anambra governor as a “Nollywood actor” who cannot muster the winning numbers at the polls.
The request for the fund was contained in a letter signed by the state’s permanent secretary and sent to the commissioners of finance and budget.
“He has insulted me so many times but that’s ok, we are leaders, so we have to be insulted even by scallywags like Nnamdi Kanu.”
