Part of the funds will be used to construct schools, health centres and veterinary clinics in the affected communities.
Mr Garba said the 1,750 units are created to reduce congestion and address the problems of unserved and under-served areas.
The disaster occurred during a heavy overnight downpour in which many people were injured in Kankara, Nasarawa and Matsiga communities.
The affected local government areas include Funtua, Bakori, Jibiya, Malulfashi, Faskari, Batsari and Danmusa, Sabuwa, Kankara, Dutsinma, Kurfi, Safana and Dandume.
