The vehicle was stolen in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, on January 5, 2026.
Mr Bakori said the deployment was aimed at guaranteeing the safety of participants and preventing any disruption to public order.
The police command in Kano has recovered a suspected stolen Toyota Hilux and arrested a 35-year-old female suspect in connection with the crime.
The CP said Mr Abba, still at large, was planning to set up a terrorist base in Kano.
The police advised the suspects to report to the station or be arrested and dealt with.
“Enough of clusters of ‘Yan Jagaliya’ loitering around Government House, Audu Bako Secretariat and similar offices trying to disrupt governance,” said the police chief.
The suspects were arrested and had confessed to the crime.
The police said most suspects who came to wreak havoc and disrupt the mass wedding came from neighbouring states.
The state Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Usaini, had on Thursday, ordered a manhunt for the suspect.
He said the rifles were recovered by a Safer Highway Patrol team while conducting an intelligence-led stop and search operation at Kwanar Garko in Garko Local Government Area of the state.
