The army says it arrested 10 suspected terrorists and rescued three kidnap victims in coordinated operations across Abuja and the North-Central region.
Mr Zubairu said the troops between September 26 and September 28, thwarted the bandits’ plans to attack Agurugu and Igyudu villages.
“Two of the bandits sustained gunshot injuries and were confirmed dead at the hospital.’’
On June 26, the policeman, James Aondona, engaged in an altercation with one Aondohemba Terkula, which led to the resident’s death.
He said the operation led to the killing of three bandits and rescue of a kidnapped victim who was on blind fold in the hideout with injuries.
