The fire service comptroller in Kano, Kazeem Sholadoye, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.
The Federal Fire Service reported saving 24 lives and property worth N56.8 billion from 15 incidents in February.
The statement said that due to the swift response and professionalism of the personnel, property valued at N55 million was saved, while the estimated losses stood at N5 million.
Kazeem Sholadoye, the command’s comptroller in Kano, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday.
He reminded them that promotion comes with higher expectations in service delivery.
He said that fire incidents posed a serious threat to lives, property, and livelihoods.
