Mr Idris noted with satisfaction that the state’s internally generated revenue had steadily improved.
“PDP is appalled by the shoddy execution of the ongoing multibillion-naira Yauri township roads project. It’s most unfortunate and extremely distasteful,” said Mr Bawa-Kalgo.
The lawmaker said that education was not only crucial to individuals but also to society at large.
The governor said the Kebbi House of Assembly passed the bills to conform with the culture and religious values of the people of the state.
Reason for the impeachment was not given, except that 20 out of the 24 members of the assembly attended the session.
