The adjournment is to allow Mr Bello’s lawyer to continue with the cross-examination of the EFCC’s 12th prosecution witness.
The former Kogi governor is facing trial over an alleged ₦80.2 billion money laundering case involving funds from the Kogi government.
The witness read out the inflow and outflow between May 2, 2018, and May 19, 2018.
Justice Nwite adjourned the matter until March 7 for continuation of trial.
The court announced that it would not be sitting on Thursday as previously scheduled.
Mr Bello pleaded not guilty when the charges were read to him before Justice Emeka Nwite of the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court.
Shortly after the judge left the courtroom, Mr Bello, who sat in the front of the courtroom, stood up and appealed to his supporters to calm down.
Mr Adoyi then prayed the court to refuse the oral application of Pinheiro.
Justice Moore Adumei said the ex-Bank PHB MD failed to convince the Supreme Court that the trial and Appeal Court’s findings were not credible.
