On Tuesday, FCT minister Nyesom Wike said the FCT Administration would partner South Korea and Turkiye.
“Samsung Heavy Industry invested more than $300 million to build an ultra-modern shipyard in Lagos port,” stated the Korean ambassador to Nigeria.
The envoy said that the 2023 general elections in Nigeria were very important to Korea and the international community.
The federal government is hoping that the partnership would explore opportunities in Nigeria’s agriculture sector.
In its second phase, the project would benefit six states, namely, Lagos, Anambra, Kano, Nasarawa, Bauchi, and Edo.
The minister noted that Nigeria and South Korea shared strong economic and investment ties with over 20 Korean companies presently operating in the country.
