Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi on Thursday in Lokoja received the former Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido, president of the Jamiyyatu Ansarideen Worldwide.
“The example has already been set in Kogi State and we are sure he will do it when he becomes president. 2023.”
After signing the budget on Wednesday, Mr Bello said that his administration had tried to reduce corruption to the barest minimum assuring of greater accountability.

Kogi accounted for 12.50 million tons, Ogun 12.11 million tons, and Cross River 8.90 million tons. It, however, said Borno recorded the least production in 2020 with 5,060 tons.
Governor Yahaya Bello’s government has sued the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), demanding N35 billion in damages.
