Mr Jatau called on his constituents to continue to support Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration and the All Progressives Congress.
He said some persons fled the area upon seeing the troops approaching the site.
The police spokesperson said that Mr Omanji was taken to the hospital for medical attention immediately after the rescue.
Mr Jatau, the chairman of the occasion, urged adherents of the different faiths to live together in peace and respect others’ choice of religion.
Mr Jatau said that Mr Sule has passion and interest of the state at heart.
“I will continue to provide foodstuffs and other dividends of democracy for my constituents.”
“By God’s grace, I will not fail you. I will not fail the House and the state.’’
The lawmaker said the donation of a police station was to complement the protection of lives and property of his constituents.
