The governor said the beneficiaries were selected following recommendations by the Kaduna State advisory council on the prerogative of mercy after a review of eligible cases.
The groups, however, expressed concern about rising disillusionment with democracy amid challenges in the country and across the African continent.
Ms Hafsat stated that her gratitude was on behalf of the Adeyemi and Abiola families.
The governor stressed that the gains of the democratic journey must be consolidated to build a more inclusive and accountable society.
Mr Bakare-Oki explained that the tragic accident involved a cyclist and a heavily loaded truck (registration number BDG 610 YA).
“Her anniversary comes up in exactly a month from now. The confession of her murderer Sergeant Rogers must be investigated,” he said.
Abdul Abiola said it was time for Nigerians to know what led to the death of MKO Abiola and Kudirat Abiola and other unsung heroes.
