“I am begging the Nigerian government to please release him so that he can come home and receive the medical treatment he urgently needs before it is too late,” said Yuki Gambaryan.
“Yesterday, @RepHoulahan and I visited with US citizen Tigran Gambaryan in Kuje Prison in Nigeria,” Mr Hill said in a post on X.
The law firm stated this in a letter addressed to the deputy chief registrar of the Federal High Court and signed by a partner, C.J. Caleb.
“We are deeply disappointed that Tigran Gambaryan, who has no decision-making power in the company, continues to be detained.”
EFCC counsel E.E. Iheanacho countered his colleague, asserting there was nothing wrong in Mr Gambaryan’s detention in Kuje prison.
The Nigerian Army has blamed the July 5, 2022, Kuje prison break on the absence of close-circuit television (CCTV) cameras at the facility.
Justice James Omotosho gave the order following Mr Dabo’s arraignment by the police on a seven-count charge bordering on alleged N30 billion fraud.

The court ordered that the suspended governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, be remanded in Kuje prison until November 22.
He recalled that the former President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan described the Kuje incident as an insider job.
