Mr Agboke said that the majority of polling units opened on schedule.
The INEC national commissioner supervising Ondo, Kunle Ajayi, presented the certificates at the commission’s headquarters in Abuja on Wednesday.
He urged political parties, civil society organisations, and the media to mobilise registered voters to collect their PVCs.
No fewer than eight protesters were arrested and taken to the state police headquarters in Akure.
Vowing that no amount of threats would stop the nationwide protest, the AAC governorship candidate said the people must be allowed to exercise their civic rights.
Ms Babalola said there were 1,991,344 registered voters in the state as of the last gubernatorial election in 2020, and 1,729,641 collected their PVCs.

The result shows that Mr Ehindero led with 16,439 votes in Akoko North East.
The thugs carted away the ballot box, the result sheets and the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machine at the polling unit.
The exercise which began around 9:00 a.m. was conducted in six local government areas of the state.
