Mr Abdullahi stated that his agency was planning to assist victims of floods with relief materials.
A check by journalists in Bauchi and Gombe showed that the states are at various implementation stages of the programme.

He said that Mr Dankwambo polled 143,155 votes to defeat his closest rival, Mr Alkali of the APC, who scored votes 77,948.
Mr Yahaya advised the opposition parties in the state not to bother campaigning because “Gombe is the home of the APC.”
Mr Bille said in Gombe on Wednesday that 225 persons had so far been tested, out of which 20 were confirmed positive and 10 were treated and discharged.
One hundred bales of the nets were recovered from Kwami, while nine bales from Billiri. Each bale contains 50 nets.
