The unit commander of FRSC, Badagry command, Williams Manga, said that one other person was injured in the crash on Sunday evening.
Mr Manga stated that five persons were involved in the accident but three of them sustained injuries.
The Federal Road Safety Corps said on Saturday that one person died in a car crash at the Ola Oki Hospital axis of the Lagos-Badagry Expressway.
He said the two vehicles involved in the accident had been removed and taken to the FRSC office in Badagry.
Mr Manga said that nothing was recovered from the victims.
He also called on road users to prioritise safety and strictly adhere to traffic regulations.
“The five suspects involved were arrested on Wednesday and they will be charged to court soon,” he said.
“The accident occurred at Car Wash, Itoga Junction axis of the Badagry Expressway. It involved an unknown car driver.”
The unit commander urged motorists plying the Agbara-Badagry expressway to be conscious of the single lane.
“When you want to do your dirty job, you will call soldiers.”
