He expressed optimism that Mr Fonbaustier’s tenure would further enhance such a relationship.
Mr Sanwo-Olu also highlighted the need to address climate change.
Sixty-two per cent of the budget is for capital expenditure and 38 per cent recurrent expenditure.

The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Lagos House, Ikeja.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu said the civil servants began receiving the new wage in January.
“That is when Allah will intervene in the present situation of our country.”
He said the government was committed to ensuring ease of doing business in the state.
“These are strategic and critical assignments that have been assigned to them,’’ Mr Sanwo-Olu said.
“Their determination has motivated many and showed us the power of youth. We are committed to bringing that same spirit to grassroots football in Lagos State.
